Top Three: New Season Shoes

I know it's cold. I know that boots are the only suitable footwear right now. And (if 2013 turns out to be anything like 2012) I know that summer might never come. But while my brain is telling me to wrap up warm and wear two pairs of tights, my heart is telling me that I need some new-season shoes. In particular, pointy of toe, strappy of ankle, and minimal in colour. Lucky for me then, that the high street is chock full of frankly lovely creations that tick all those boxes with aplomb...

My first pick is this pair from Zara. Love the black and white combo (I am massively looking forward to the monochrome trend this spring), love the very walkable-but-still-elegant heel, and totally love that they are a total bargain at only £25.99 (I know!!).

The shiny silver finish of this t-bar pair is from ASOS (£45) gives them a bit of a sci-fi vibe, which is a very good thing indeed as far as I am concerned. I really like the skinniness of the straps, and the wedge heel means that they should be pretty easy to walk in too. 

 If I was feeling a bit more flush, I would be tempted to go for this white pair from Kurt Geiger. They are £195, but they are real leather, and white is going to be huge next season! I really like the extended tab at the back of heel, and the slightly awkward-looking shape of the blocky heel.
